Maud Anderson - Teacher, Grade 5
A bit about me. . . .
I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, the oldest of five kids. I spent lots of time exploring in the woods and getting lost in books at our public library. I still love doing both these things! I live in a 230-year-old house which keeps me busy with all kinds of projects. I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful corner of the world, with so many trails and back roads to explore on foot and bike.
I've taught 4th grade at MCS for the past 16 years and have moved to 5th grade. It's exciting to be working with a new curriculum, new colleagues, and a new age group of students. I can't imagine a more interesting or rewarding job than teaching at MCS. I teach because I love to learn, and I love watching children experience that same excitement.
