Hobbies: Reading, gardening, cooking/baking, traveling and doing anything fun with my children and husband.
I have been teaching in Moultonborough for 13 years. My husband and I, and our four children, love living in this wonderful town. I always wanted to be a teacher and I love interacting with kids and helping them find joy in the process of learning. As the Reading Teacher for Grades 5-6, I get to share lots of wonderful literature with children. I collaborate with classroom teachers to create reading programs that meet each student’s individual needs. By sharing and discussing literature as a class, carefully guiding small groups of students through reading, and regularly working with individuals, we work to move students along in their ability to understand increasingly complex text and create a lifelong love of reading.
