My life these days are happily busy. Being a teacher, a parent of two boys, a good partner to my wife and building a house doesn't leave much extra time to wander. Still, I strive to be a bit of a Renaissance man yet have only managed to be a jack of many trades and a master of none.
Teaching is a career that I enjoy immensely. I believe strongly in experiential education and try my best to give my students and the children around me a real look at themselves and the possibilities ahead of them. Once directed, the tools needing to be learned can be achieved much easier. This makes the meaning and usefulness of the skills and lessons I teach equally important.
I enjoy open, honest and informed dialog and look forward to parents being part of the experience of my classroom.
