MTA's Vision Statement Our vision is to have families, schools and communities that are informed about the importance of prevention, actively participate in prevention efforts, and encourage low-risk behavior; and to have significantly higher numbers of people making healthy choices. MTA's Mission Statement Our mission is to lead with integrity and to engage the community respectfully in an ongoing effort to promote healthy choices surrounding the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.   MTA Strategies We will support our community by developing strategies to: • Limit the availability and decrease the use of ATODs by young people and the abuse of ATODs by all ages. • Change the prevailing community attitudes that tend to "turn a blind eye" towards the use and abuse of legal and illegal substances. • Promote the systematic development of increased support and continuum of care for our community members with respect to mental health and substance abuse.   If you have questions about the program, please contact MTA’s coordinator, Jess Stephens: email
