	Moultonborough School District Athletic Committee Minutes October 24, 2008 Committee Member In Attendance: Kathy Garry, Fox Smith, Andy Coppinger, Harry Blood Others in Attendance: Hollis Austin, Jean Beadle, Gary Haracz The meeting began at 7:30 a.m. the SAU. 1. Proposed 2009-2010 Budget–Mr. Blood presented his budget recommendations for Moultonborough Academy’s Athletic programs for the 2009-2010 school year. He reviewed each program one by one and provided some of the history of the programs and their current status. He also provided athletic participation numbers for the past year, which once again indicated approximately 50% of Academy students are engaged in an athletic program each season. The Committee discussed Mr. Blood’s proposal to add pole-vaulting to the Track and Field offerings, which is the only field event currently not offered by Moultonborough. The Committee voted to not support this request and to cut the proposed funding from the 09-10 budget. Mr. Blood will revise his budget numbers and submit them to Mr. Lancor for inclusion in the overall 2009-2010 budget. 2. Non-public session: Committee members discussed a personnel issue.
