Best Way to Contact Me: email: jvanbarriger@sau45.org The best time to reach me by telephone is after 2:30 p.m. World Studies is a yearlong course, incorporating both English and Social Studies.  Students meet for two blocks daily, and will study the history and culture of a specific region, as well as read literature from that area and write about it.  Grading for the course is as follows:   Competencies:  50% Daily work and homework: 20% Projects/Tests & Quizzes/Essays: 30% I look forward to meeting my students and their parents!
